Common questions
What is a full arch?
A complete row of fixed teeth on four to six implants in one jaw. Read more.
All-on-4 or All-on-6?
Both work for the right mouth. Four suits less bone; six spreads the load. Compare them.
How many trips does it take?
Usually two, around four months apart. See the journey.
Will I have teeth between trips?
Usually a fixed temporary bridge, or sometimes a temporary denture.
Zirconia or acrylic?
Zirconia resists wear but costs more; acrylic is lighter and easier to repair. Read more.
Does it hurt?
Implants are placed under local anaesthetic. Swelling and soreness for a few days afterwards is normal.
Is it on the NHS?
Rarely. The NHS says implants are usually only available privately.
How much does it cost?
It depends on implants, brand, material, extractions, grafts and one or both jaws. What decides the price.
Is it right for me?
It depends on your health, bone and expectations. Honest checklist.
How do I look after it?
Brush twice daily, clean under the bridge daily, and keep check-ups. Read more.
